GLOSSARY TECHNICAL DRAWING


1. Procedure
A procedure is any method or system by which something can be
executed. In any of its specific applications the idea of ​​procedure
expresses the systematization of a process.

2. Method
The word Method refers to that set of strategies and tools that are
used to reach a precise objective, the method usually represents
an instrumental means by which the works that are made daily are
made.

3. Mode
Set of expressions, gestures, movements, attitudes, etc., that a
person uses to behave in public and with other people, especially
according to certain commonly accepted social rules.

4. Use
The dictionary shows that it is the action and effect of using, its
general and basic concept refers to the action of using something
to do a task or complete a goal. This word is directed to any sector,
since it can be used in any type of circumstance.

5. Technique
The technical word comes from téchne, a Greek root word that has
been translated into Spanish as "art" or "science". This notion
serves to describe a type of actions governed by norms or a certain
protocol that has the purpose of arriving at a specific result, both
scientifically and technologically, artistically or in any other field. In
other words, a technique is a set of regulated procedures and
guidelines that is used as a means to reach a certain end.

6. Style
The concept of style has its origin in the Latin term stilus. The word
can be used in various fields, although its most common use is
associated with the appearance, aesthetics or delineation of
something.

7. Medium
It is also called means, to the instruments or elements that are
used to reach an end. For example: "If I want to progress, I must
study as a means of overcoming" or "I will use the ladder as a
means to get on the terrace".

8. Tools
A tool is an element that is used to work. The term may refer to
physical utensils, programs, concepts, etc. It serves to facilitate a
certain task in such a way as to guarantee an increase in
productivity.

9. Structure
The structure (from the Latin structūra) is the arrangement and
order of the parts within a whole. It can also be understood as a
system of coherent concepts linked, whose objective is to specify
the essence of the object of study.

10. Design
It is constituted by strokes or a delineation in order to project an
object or work. Also, it is the discipline that is responsible for the
creation of works or things such as buildings, figures, among
others.

11. Measures
In Physics, to establish a measure, which is a numerical value, we
must take a reference that is the unit of measurement, so that we
can obtain the magnitude we need, comparing it with that unit that
is invariable and repeatable, and that arises through a pattern or
model, or by other previously defined units. The magnitudes to be
measured must be of the same species.

12. Elaboration
It is the ability of the individual to formalize ideas, to plan, develop
and execute projects. It is the attitude to convert the formulations
into promising solutions and decisive actions, it is the requirement
to take the creative impulse to its realization.
In another sense the development is the ability to deepen and
detain in the consolidation of an idea, is the pursuit of perfection
and precision of the action.

13. Template
It is a form of device that usually provides a separation between
the form or structure and the content. It is a means or an apparatus
that allows guiding, carrying or constructing a predefined design or
scheme.
A template streamlines the work of reproducing many identical or
almost identical copies (which does not have to be so elaborate,
sophisticated or personal).

14. Development
It means growth, progress, evolution, improvement. As such, it
designates the action and effect of developing it to develop. The
concept of development can refer to a task, a person, a country or
something else.

15. Bounded
It is the process of annotating, by lines, figures, signs and symbols,
the measurements of an object, on a previous drawing of the
same, following a series of rules and conventions, established by
rules.

16. Surface

18. Efficiency
It is the relationship that exists between the resources used in a
project and the results obtained with it. It refers above all to the
achievement of the same objective with the use of the least
possible number of resources or when more goals are reached with
the same number of resources or less.

19. Views

20. Symmetry
Metric correspondence in relation to a point, line or plane. Exact

21. Scale
It comes from the Latin Scala, it is basically the ordered succession
of a set of terms of the same quality. The scale of a unit refers to
the measure that must be taken into account when reducing or
expanding something so that its physical representation or
drawing.

22. Authority
 It refers to the power and the dual function of sending on the one
hand and of being able to be obeyed by the other, which will be
held by an individual over the rest. But of course, not everyone will
have this power, but it is closely related to other issues such as the
position, the role of a person in a society or community

23. Quality
It is the set of properties and characteristics of a product or service
that gives it the ability to satisfy needs, tastes and preferences, and
to meet expectations in the consumer. Such properties or
characteristics could be referred to the supplies used, the design,
presentation, aesthetics, conservation, durability, customer service,
after-sales service, etc.

24. Change
The word change denotes the action or transition from an initial
state to a different one, as it refers to an individual, object or
situation. It can also refer to the action of replacing or replacing
something.
The word change can be used in various areas of study or
development of the human being because it indicates a transition
or moving.

25. Knowledge
Process by virtue of which reality is reflected and reproduced in
human thought; This process is conditioned by the laws of social
development and is inextricably linked to practical activity. The
purpose of knowledge lies in reaching objective truth. In the
process of knowledge, man acquires knowledge, assimilates
concepts about real phenomena, understands the surrounding
world. Said knowledge is used in practical activity to transform the
world, to subordinate nature to the needs of the human being.
